About us

Hellik Teigen Group, founded in 1901, is now a modern recycling enterprise. The company plays an important part in the recycling industry in Norway, because we operate in several different fields to recover society’s valuable resources.

Materials most people would describe as “waste” are transported to our facilities for sorting and conversion into secondary raw materials by means of modern technology and the expertise we have acquired through long experience. Then we seek out our customers, both in Norway and abroad, who are most able to make use of the end-products.

In response to society’s drastic increase in consumption, which is forcing us to find new solutions to new problems, such as waste, emphasis is shifting increasingly from re-use to recycling. Recycled products are manufactured at lower costs to the community than products made from virgin raw materials, and are thus better geared to the future, both from an environmental and economic point of view. This is the main ideology behind the Hellik Teigen Group.
